Ingredients
  • 1 lb Bacon, cooked crunchy
  • 2 cups Shallots, diced
  • 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Powdered Ginger
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Bourbon
  • Salt to taste
Directions

Cook bacon till crunchy. In the bacon grease, saute the shallots. Add the brown sugar and saute a couple minutes. Add bacon, bourbon, vinegar, powdered ginger and salt. Simmer for @ 10 minutes uncovered. Blend in cuisinart. Chill overnight. Serve with crostini and cheese.
